My Verdict

As of writing this, I/We tried the Iced Matcha Latte (Green tea with creamy milk) and Iced Dark Chocolate (with creamy milk and rich espresso). Actually, I'm not really into Matcha Lattes but the Iced Match Latte in Pickup Coffee is surprisingly really good (for me). It reminds me of the Matcha Latte in a famous brand yet in an affordable version. Also, the Iced Dark Chocolate in Pickup Coffee is very good too. Then the natural bitter taste of the Dark Chocolate blended well with the creamy milk and the espresso.

Overall, I highly recommend Pickup Coffee. It's really good and affordable.

When it comes to coffee, what is your preference? Would you like it hot or cold? Black or latte? Or with cream on it. According to David Lynch an American filmmaker, visual artist and actor that “Even bad coffee is better than no coffee at all.” Well, I couldn't agree more. As for me, when it comes to choosing coffee, I always look for great yet affordable.

It's a Cebu-based coffee brand that serves affordable coffee but with a twist, as their coffee tastes really good. It's like sipping an international-based coffee in a budget-friendly cup. Yes, guys! I'm not exaggerating, their coffee tastes sooo good and many can attest to it.

What makes the Happy Barista unique is its pop-up store concept. They started this concept late in 2020 (the time when we discovered them as well in Roro Cordova, now we're one of their regular customers hehe). No wonder why their coffee quality is superb.

Teology Cafe at Minganilla, Cebu has been one of the talk-of-the-town cafes recently for its delicious milk tea, snacks, and even meals.

Is Teology Cafe worth paying a visit?

Personally, my answer is a big YES.  Below are the reasons why:

So far, I have tried the Pearl Milk Tea, Okinawa, and Oreo. Their Milk Tea is way cheaper than the other Milk Tea in town. It tastes good though their pearls/boba (or also known as Tapioca Balls) is quite softer than usual.

For the food, I tried the Mini Burgers, Quesadilla, and their Creamy Carbonara. I love all of it especially their Creamy Carbonara. I'm not into Carbonara but the Teology Creamy Carbona is soooooo delicious in a way that it makes me want to eat more.
