Affordable Pinoy Style Nachos

Nachos is a Mexican dish embodied with heated tortilla chips or totopos topped with melted cheese (or a cheese-based sauce), often served as a snack or appetizer.

How to make it? Here's my simple and inexpensive way of making Pinoy Style Nachos.

Ingredients:

Snackers Nachos (preferable flavor is Cheese) or Jack 'n Jill Mr. Chips Nacho Cheese
• Evaporated Milk or the Milk of your choice
• Nestle - All Purpose Cream
• Cheese Powder (any brand will do, but I would suggest Cheesemiss Gourmet Cheese Flavoring Powder)
• White onion (but Red will do)
• 1 small head of Cabbage
• Kraft - Cheez Whiz "Saver's Pack"
• Ground Meat (beef or pork)
• Best Foods  - Real Mayonnaise "Budget Pack" (optional)
• Eden - "Melt Sarap" Quickmelt Cheese
• Ripe Tomatoes

Procedure:

1. Get a pan and cook the ground meat with a bit of oil and a few cut onions. Add seasonings to taste it (like the usual cooking of ground meat). Afterward, let it set in the cooking paper, then put it aside.
2. In a separate pan, put the Evaporated Milk.
3. Next, add the Nestle All Purpose Cream and the Cheese Powder.

On the other side:

1. Cut the tomatoes and onions into small cubes (you may also include the cheese).
2. Slice the cabbage thinly.
3. After that, arrange the Nachos Chips in the container.
4. Put the cooked ground meat evenly on top of the Nachos Chips.
5. Lay the other ingredients such as the cut tomatoes, onions, and cabbage.
6. Layer it with the cheese sauce, Cheese Whiz, and some mayonnaise.
Note: Adjust the quantity of the ingredients depending on your preference.

Other ingredients you may add for garnish (optional):

• Avocado
• Chilli Peppers / Jalapeño (if you want it spicy)
• Ham / Sausage
• Olive
 • Cut string onions

Tip: Consume it as soon as possible or cover it after to preserve the crunchiness of the chips.

Enjoy your Nachos! 🍽
