Who wouldn't love the convenience in a world of good technological advancement? Well, I bet everyone does.
Part of the advantages in today's modern world is the hassle-free traveling way. Online Check-in is the trend nowadays. Thus, it is the most advantageous procedure for travelers than taking the long queue to get the boarding pass. Yay!

Online check-in is not new, especially for other advanced countries (I first tried it at Changi Airport on our trip to Singapore. Click Here).
What are the things needed when you check-in online (for Philippine Airlines passengers):
Generally, airlines will send a message to your email that it's ready for online check-in.
1. Reference Number (in your ticket)
2. Mabuhay Miles Number
After arriving at the airport, all you need to do is scan the QR Code from your email at the boarding gate . . . and voila! Finish. It's good as an early check-in. Amazing! However, there will be no more printing of boarding passes. Paperless! Convenient plus, you're helping nature at the same time. (Yikes!)
Additionally, the same rule applies to passengers who opt for online check-in but have luggage. They will check it and verify your baggage allowance. Then, after you scan your boarding pass, the airline staff will guide you with it.
Note: As of writing this, I don't know if the other airlines have the same process. However, you can freely check their respective sites.
