Great view from the Victoria Peak, Hong Kong |
Last weekend, my partner and I traveled Hongkong & Macau. Actually, it was my first time to travel in both countries, but not for my partner (for he traveled already with his family in both countries last 2015). Given the experience, he serves as my tour guide on the entire trip.
To say nothing of, he made all the itineraries just like his previous trip (with his family) with some updated touches. However, we noticed that there are some changes in the route of the free-bus rides. So, I/We would like to share these with you all and hoping this could be a big help.
Note: This guide is only applicable for those who will take the challenge of traveling by ship from Hong Kong to Macau.
1. HONG KONG TO MACAU FERRY. You can freely buy a ticket from Hongkong to Macau at Shun Tak Centre at Sheung Wan, Sheung Wan MTR Station. An underground exit walkway to the ferry pier. In there, you can choose various schedules of the ferry. TURBOJET is the most recommended ferry to sail with.
2. GOING TO VENETIAN MACAU. From the ferry port, you just take a bus going to the Venetian Macao. Just look for the bus stop and there you will find the free bus ride to Venetian Macau.
3. THE VENETIAN MACAO TO SENADO SQUARE/RUINS OF ST. PAUL'S MACAU. The new route going to Senado Square/the Ruins of St. Paul is from the Venetian Macao is you will go on foot to the City of Dreams. Afterward, go ahead to the underground level, where you will find the bus station. Next, take off at the Grand Emperor Hotel. From there, you can go on foot to Senado Square, then go on foot again to the Ruins of St. Paul's.
