Thank You 2021, Welcome 2022!

“Celebrate endings—for they precede new beginnings.” —Jonathan Lockwood Huie

I manifest that 2022 is gonna be magical ♥

2021 might not be a very good year for all of us (due to the pandemic plus the super typhoon Rai) but I got lots of things to be thankful for in life.

Always Grateful

“A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues.”  — Cicero

Things I'm thankful for:

1. The gift of love & life

In a world full of hate, it's rare to find people who love you. Cherish them and the moment that you got the chance to spend with them be it virtually or not.

On the other hand, Life is short. So, embrace life and appreciate the beauty of it because we only live once. Live an impactful life on how you want people to remember you.

2. The gift of family

Lucky I got this wonderful gift. My main family, my extended family & my second family (my partner's family).

3. The gift of having wonderful people around.

I'm blessed with genuine and good-hearted people that surrounded me. Other than the family, I also have great friends.

4. Entrepreneur Skills.

Unlocked another milestone last year. Being able to start a new business and learn a lot of things in the industry. Thankful for all the people that supported my/our small businesses: @capricornjewelries (my jewelry online business on Instagram) and Hunger Buster at Insular Square, Mandaue (my partner and I's food business)

4. Acquired a new skill: People Skills.

Being able to conquer my ultimate weakness which is to deal and talk with different people in different sectors is such a bliss. I even couldn't believe that I was able to talk to lots of "big people" in the business industry.

5. The gift of forgiveness & reconciliation.

Got another priceless gift last year, it's the gift of healing — emotional healing to be exact. I freed myself from the pangs of the past (that keeps on haunted me). Indeed, time heals all the wounds.

Life Lessons

Let me share some of the life lessons I assimilated last year:

• Emergency Fund is necessary.

I already wrote a topic that is quite similar to this last year.  Check this link: bit.ly/3tSHm2J

Well, being able to live with this pandemic for almost two (2) years already plus the traumatic and devastating super typhoon that hit Eastern Visayas Regions in the Philippines and some parts of Mindanao has taught us the importance of Emergency Fund.

An emergency fund is a stash of money set aside to cover the financial surprises that you might meet along the way. As they say "preparation is the key" in life.

  Better start early than late.

Been thinking of doing something like learning a new skill or starting a business? Do it now!  Being able to start something is the key, than not doing anything at all. Begin now or regret later on.

Everything has its own timing.

All things need perfect timing and so does healing and acceptance.

Anyhow, hoping this 2022 would bring light to every one of us. Good health, more blessings, and a stress-free year.
