Things You Should Know Before Going to Tokyo Disneyland

Disneyland is magical to most women who grew up watching Disney movies, and visiting any of the Disney parks around the world is truly magical.

So, here's a tip for all the Disney Princess fans before going to Tokyo Disneyland.

1. Best Time to Arrive

The queue is very long in the morning, so it's better not to arrive too early. In our case, we ate at a Sushi Train restaurant first. Hehe!

We arrived at around 12:30 PM. By then, there were no more lines, and we arrived just in time to see the characters come out.

Omg! I'm crying. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are two of my favorite characters.
My younger self is beyond happy to be here (insert tears of joy).

2. Internet Access

It's a good idea to have internet access to stay updated on the schedule, especially for rides.

3. Grand Parade and Fireworks Schedule

If you'd like to watch the Grand Parade, it's best to find a good viewing spot at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Also, the time interval between the Grand Parade and the fireworks is about 1 to 2 hours—plenty of time to buy some food and refreshments. To be on the safe side, make sure to secure your food in advance, as the restaurant lines are very long at dinner time, and you'll be late if you wait too long.

Note: There are many restaurants in Tokyo Disneyland. In our case, we bought food at Tomorrowland Terrace for takeout and ate in front of the Disney Castle, as we wanted to watch the fireworks while eating hamburgers.

4. Tickets

If you're just curious about Tokyo Disneyland, you can buy a ticket after 6 PM, and the ticket price will be lower than the original price.

Note: The budget-friendly "After 6 Passport" option at Tokyo Disneyland is available on select weekdays. This discounted ticket allows guests to enter the park after 6 PM at a lower price, making it perfect for those who want to experience the magical evening ambiance and catch nighttime shows without paying for a full-day ticket.

Keep in mind, however, that this pass may not be offered during peak seasons or high-demand periods, so be sure to check the Tokyo Disneyland website for the latest ticket options and availability.

5. Accessories and Merchandise

Accessories and merchandise are expensive inside the park, so it's better to buy them beforehand and bring them with you.

Also, tripods are not allowed inside the premises of Tokyo Disneyland. I'm not sure if this rule applies to all Disney theme parks, as this is my first time visiting. Based on my experience at Universal Studios Singapore, tripods are actually allowed there.
